Please tell me your opinion about www.fif2002.com, any advice will be greatly appreciated.


( This is my first website and I have no experience in web design )

what kind of site is it supposed to be? From a business perspective it's pretty good, minus the whole globe thingy. From a personal website perspective it doesn't feel right, you'll want more of a blog style layout of sorts.

note: having the title fade in and out in my browser window is a tad annoying -.-

The header should be more attractive, search bar should be there it makes easier for visitors to search. On footer, the page links should be there, like Home, About US, Sitemap, Contact us.

Hi, just had a little look see. Excellent for your first web, my first was an awful ungodly created from scratch way back, still got it and I look at it on my computer once in a while - kinda makes my skin crawl, but it makes me smile.
Pleasant corporate portrait look, I wouldn't worry about the contenting of it for a specific purpose right now, as it is your first web. (As with a newborn, you just don't shove a fat, juicy Texas Cut steak down its throat, but rather put a little juice on the finger tip and let the babe suckle it) I was a little disappointed at the News page, I thought it would contain first, and foremost, news about your web. Idea: the news presented now, I would deem as personal interest news and I feel is acceptable on the news page as a headline (w/link to another per headline topic page) under your site news in a section denoted as Personal Interest News.
I noticed your need for relief in your comic pages (for the lack of a better term). I liked the content, I get lost at you tube and could never find "KIWI" (as a matter of fact "I hate you tubes layout - too much crap and not enough simplicity), and your placement of the Andertoon on your home page is something to think about doing on the comic page(s) (gives a little break from the formal text and graphics currently existing, a little indulgence is creative, don't be afraid to resize images to fit the smaller white spaces of the page(s)). On that note, the right side of the pages are weak - way too much unoccupied area.
The biggest problem any webmaster has is pleasing everyone, so my advice is do what you want for what you want for who you want and don't let the perception of those (because most perceptions are false and misleading) sway you too much from your course/focus. It all takes time; some have it, some don't. zpcs
