Full Version: Help, Can Not Logg In With Navicat

Hey, well i got into my mysql database and added my .php files into it... i worked!
Then i wanted to login with Navicat [Mysql database editor] and i cant;

I need this to login:
Host name/Ip adress
Port
user name
password

I currently have this set to:
Host name/Ip adress: Localhost
Port: 3306
User name: Hotelnega_rolls
Password: [Dont think i need to provide this information]

Outside MySQL connections aren't permitted, so there's no way to connect with navicat to Zymic hosted databases.

If they were permitted, you'd be barking up the wrong tree though by using the host as 'localhost' as that in 99% of machines is set to point back to loopback (127.0.0.1) so effectively you're trying to connect to yourself.
