Full Version: Drawing A Mountain View In Illustrator

I try to draw the below sample picture(where I got from mikelevin.com) as realistic as it can(and my Illustrator skill are not good enough... much for a pretty basic thing).

Sample picture:



And below what the final artwork have been.... the flower field is really a challenging one, and I didnt know how excatly to make it more realistic as in picture.
Do you guys got any comment?

You would be a pretty good artist for some 'point and click' 'escape' games! These are generally the type of graphics used in those games smile.gif

The 2nd one is pretty goo, but the first could use some work. I can see the major resemblances but I would add the fence and the small tree/bush to the left side.

Thanks Jetteh22... then I think I need to use Illustrator more often... gonna try google the illustrator tutorial after this... dont know y but I think I really love that pen tool smile.gif. Gonna editing both and make it much better, oh yeah I really suck in color. Do you know how exactly to make a good color matching??

wow, beautiful even though it does not look-alike with the real image. i really want to learn illustrator. i don't have any idea with that, i always used photoshop. is it easy to use?
