I'm trying to send email messages using the mail() function...mail() is returning FALSE.
Andrew
That's because the mail() function has been disabled. You can have it enabled for a one off fee of $10 payable to Jack. Contact him on IRC if you're interested.

Please search the forums before you post about something in the future.

I've been having a tough time finding out when the mail function will be enabled.
The $10 payment was made several days ago by one of my customers (Bernie Hall).
breviary.uuuq.com is the web hosting account I've created for his website.
phpsecure.uuuq.com is my test site for this project.
When emailing from phpsecure.uuuq.com, mail() still returns an error.
I've tried irc and emailing admin@zymic.com.
Jack is not responding on irc, and my customer is anxious to get his website launched.
mail() is required to confirm website user email addresses, reset forgotten user passwords, and recover usernames.
mail() will not be used to spam.
I have a legitimate computer consulting business, MicroGuru (microguru.uuuq.com).

But it's the only way to discourage those who will spam.

Also, it's more or less Jacks only income from here - with no ads, here or on your sites, how do you think he pays for this place?

That is true. Jack is very kind to offer hosting for free. It is really expensive for someone to do such.
