This is my first website and after following all the steps, when I try to go to the site from the web browser, I'm getting a '403 Forbidden' message. Furthermore it says "The address you have entered is not open to the public". I did the FTP transfer to the site and everything.

Any help on how I can resolve this issue?
I'll try to attach a picture of the message

The URL is:
Well I'm seeing the FTP address as: jimbo2nrpix.uuuq.com
Is that what you are referring to?

What exactly are you looking to have appear? This? Or your Drupal install?

Yea that "under construction" thing with the picture. Can you give me a step by step on how to get there. I just put that picture as a test to see if my site was being transmitted to the page for the public to view.

I thought I had to do the Drupal step before I can get my page to load. Not sure how correct I am.

You need to rename that page to index.html.

OK please excuse my lack of knowledge on this topic but how exactly do I rename the page to index.html

Do I do that from the control panel?

You can do it from either the file manager, or via ftp.

OK OK I got it. Thank you very much for your help. Most likely you may be hearing from me again soon.
Take care.

Oh, one more question.
Is there a way to get to the site without the index.html eventually, like after I finish designing it or whatever.

If your home page is called index.html you don't need to specify the page.
