Hi,

I installed WordPress and everything is fine apart from when I upload a file, I keep getting this error: Missing a temporary folder.

So I can't upload them.

Under Settings -> Misc:

Store uploads in this folder Default is wp-content/uploads
There is no uploads folder, and I can't seem to make one there, it doesn't let me.

So I just made one called temp, and it doesn't work.

Thanks

me too facing this prob.

but why zymic team is not answering your question.

i think that problem was due to config problem of php.ini

they have to fix a temp folder in "upload_tmp_dir".

so pls help
flmn
I have this problem too.

I echo upload_tmp_dir, it shows "/www/tmp/".

It looks good.

This problem may not caused by upload_tmp_dir...

You may laugh off but this is what I've done.
After I found setting up the permission 777 to wp-content/uploads didn't help, I manually created the folder called "2010" which contains sub-folders from "01" to "12"(I set the permission of 777 for those folders just in case) under wp-content/uploads. So far, I can upload the contents.
I made the folders up to 2013 and see if I will still be using the blog at that time...

just change the permission of your uploads folder to 777, if there isn't such folder, just create one with the permission mentioned.
