My website is based on my High School i am currently attending (Saugerties High School). I created it because a lot of people complain about our school's offical website being so boring and dull. so I decided to make my own and make more of a community out of it and still be able to be provide the information the students are looking for.

Schools Website - http://saugerties.schoolwires.com/saugerti...ite/default.asp
My School Web - http://www.saugertieshs.zxq.net

none of the pages work because i'm no wheres near done.

but i have a question. See how everything is uneven?..

I.E.: The Main Menu, Bill Board of Events and Featured are all uneven. How do i get them so they all remain at the top even when side is longer then the others. because the center isn't as long as the sides so its kind of hanging out there in the middle..

how do i go about fixing that?

I haven't used that system before but I'd say you would need to look at your template. Either the index html or maybe the css file.

hope this helps smile.gif

when you created these rounded corners over all your images, IF you used photoshop check the box where it says Anti Alias (or something like that) it'll make your corners MUCH smoother than what it is now... coz right now we can see the pixels.

ok, but i still need something for my original question

So basically, you want the Main Menu, Billboard of Events, and the Featured columns all perfectly aligned? You'll probably need to check your CSS and the actual page. As Jaspa said. I don't think it looks too bad though.

actually it looks fine in FF...

ii was actually thinking about doing this for my high school too, because they use mambo and it just sucks...

Hello friend, I just looked at your school's breakfast menu -- makes me want to go to school again smile.gif !

I also looked at your page -- the one you seem to have problem with. I thought it looked okay enough. But maybe I didn't get your question right. You wanted the two columns on either side of the main, centre column to be aligned vertically, right? That is, these two columns [the blue 'Main Menu' column and the red 'Featured' column] should line up with one another -- is that what you want?

Your page seems to use tables. So if you have a visual HTML editor like Dreamweaver, aligning these columns [by manually nudging or dragging each one to the desired position] shouldn't be too hard. Or if you are a pro at HTML, then you could use a text editor to correct the alignment problem using the "valign" tag.

And like MrTouz said, you could try anti-aliasing to smoothen the rounded corners. Other than that everything looks fine to me.

Best of luck smile.gif !

change line 73 to
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------cut
<td width="170" valign="top"><table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="170">
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------cut

change line 202 to
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------cut
<td width="170" valign="top"><table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="170">
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------cut

just add valign="top" and it should fix those things

What CMS are you currently using? Nice theme by the way, also erase some of the leftover pixels in the rounded corners. That's how Jack makes them smoother in his tutorials.
