So i had this software desinged from zip. PHPMyAdmin. www.costaricabr.com the home page appears to be a loadall, i can't see why the search fields take that long when running on 2 cuad core kick ass high ram servers, one DB one web. Also searches. I have just under 2000 listings in each only a quarter of the fields have info. I will be adding the other fields and 2300 more soon. Have i been screwed, is this fixable? Did i chose the wrong DB or programmer? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. i don't know anything about DB or PHP programming. I've been told that the home page has a load all by my web guy and my tech tells me there are very very very few incexes. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Your site loads quick for me. I don't see any problems.
Loads fast or isn't like a slug? I think, if www.mls-cr.com my competition loads way faster. And yahoo and google search the www in fractions of a second. This to me is very quick. I have a lot of e commerse sites and none compare to the lag this has in the initial load and searches. Am I the only one seeing this?

No its loading very slow on my end....
Site itself comes out fairly fast.
BUT the search. I searched a random property, only 1 came up, and the loading time took way too long. If i was searching on this site for something, I'd be long gone to a faster one.

Hi Joe Your site is very fine and its loading quickly for me its loaded within 10 seconds which is not bad then why you feel that your site is not loading properly? I like your site and its a neat and clean site and useful too, so don't get angry i think your net is little bit slow that why this happened with you.
I'm not mad, i just want to get to the bottom of this. The site loads ok and is totally separate. I have 2 mg up and down at home and office and the calling of data, 10 seconds is horrible, I would go to any other site in the world 8 seconds or faster and find a bunch. My question is and i think it's been answered, yes it's slow. Being that it was made for me by a 3rd party, where can i get some consulting done or have someone check the programing and point out the what I am thinking will be obvious errors or shortcuts taken that compromised my speed. Any help greatly appreciated.

If its slow, id ask the guy who made it for you, to optimise it....
tell him its too slow, and you'd like it optimised, thats what i'd do.. Obviously u are not happy with its speed, you wernt expecting such a slow search.
