And I just reinstalled RC8 too Oh well, thank god its finally going Gold now.

Edit - Unfixed, phpbb3 is safer than phpbb2. Probaly the only reason people are going to stay with phpbb2 for a bit is because there are more mods and skins out there for it than phpbb3 currently.

. I like PHPBB 2.0 better though . Oh well, phpbb3 is still great.

What do they mean by going gold?

GOLD means FINAL RELEASE

RC - means RELEASE CANDIDATE

BETA - means PRE-RELEASE

ALPHA - means PRE-BETA (basically lol)

its pretty cool that it has got its final full release and i already downloaded it gonna install it soon.
will they start up another version???? because then it would be pretty irritating after just releasing 3 full.

no it has no fast reply button but it works great anyways

I was running phpbb2 until the spam became uncontrollable.

phpbb2 is easy to spam I guess, Downthe has used phpbb3 for a year and have not had any spam, except for when there was a bug in the sign up with the captcha and Dave had to disable it, we got hit with spam then ...But he fixed it and no spam now lol

Well phpbb is a forum, php fusion is a cms which HAS a forum... so no real need for phpbb.

Tho if you still want it, you will have to cross user databases so if a user is registered on php-fusion it is also registered into phpbb, best thing to do is to cross the WHOLE database (same name for tables ans such...) so everything is connected... but ...

best way is to download phpbb3 portal to act like cms.. and have phpbb integrated as a forum
