I need to change permissions on some of my files. I need some to writable, but wen I click the freaken "W" and click OKAY, then check again, nothing happens!!!!!!!!!!!

I also have such problem. Also I can't even delete some directories, don't know why maybe also because of the problem with permissions

Please try with FTP, there are issues with the file manager. The two however are not interoperable at the time of writing.

SO use a 3rd party FTP uploader? Okay, but When I input my info into the connect option, it never connects! Do you know when this issue will be fixed?

How are you typing the information in please?

Example of how to do so:

Host: example.uuuq.com
User: example
Password: **Only you know this**
Port: 21

YEAH!

The connect box appears and I type in:

HOST: avpspectrum.uuuq.com
USERNAME: avpspectrum (FTP username) (Account name is Chris_P), which should I use?
PASSWORD: ******
Port: 21

. That's what I tyoe in. Then it says "Name is valid, but other data is not" basically. Like my username is wrong, or password, BUT I type them in correctly each time.

Any suggestions?

Yeah. It didn;t work on CoreFTP Lite, so I downloaded FileZilla. If that does;t work, then i'll have you try. I simply need to CHMOD a few folders. It's really stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They should really get this fixed.....along with PHPmyAdmin.
