It's been a long time since I actually sat down and made a vector drawing. While going through my hard-drive of random stuff I stored, I found an episode of Gundam 00 s2. Within that episode, there was an episode where everyone was depressed, and I saw a screen shot opportunity when I saw someone drinking in front of their pool. I drew this to make it look like she's (yes the person is a girl) is watching the destruction of planet. The planet is pure vector that I made after reading this tutorial. As you can probably already tell, the main focus of this piece is the hand and the planet behind the glass.

Tell me what you think of it. I know I kinda screwed up with the nose part.

Nice effects.

oh man I like your coloring style. You got to do a tutorial in the future. I think the perspective is a little off. Would have been better if she was holding the glass more towards the planet instead of parallel, nice work.

Haha, thank you for your comments. DroNix, can you please give me an example of how you would like to see it?

As for the tutorial, I am thinking of writing up one on how to make the hand.

I dunno, instead of having the planet next to the character, why not have it in perspective of the female.

wacko.gif I just reread that and got confused, hope you understand it better than I did. ph34r.gif

too bad the drink is frozen, doesn't seem to be pouring out >_>

LOL. The objective was top capture the picture before she took her first sip. This technique is often used in paintings, and I thought it would be a nice addition.
