You were only meant to upload the 'upload' folder - not everything.

Try viewing samcash.uuuq.com/upload/.

However, this script won't work on our hosting, as shell_exec is disabled.

Hi. I have looked over several posts in the forum and this seems to be the one that fits closest to my problem. I updated our website this weekend (file uploading via Filezilla)and tried to access our site to make sure everything was fine and as it should be. When I try to access the site I get an error message "403 FORBIDDEN - The address you have entered is not open to the public, (This may be caused by not having a index.html file in your root directory)". I have an index.html file in what I believe is the root directory (remote site) and everything uploaded fine from the local site to the remote site (approx. 95 files successfully transfered). The status claimed "Directory listing successful". I read on another post that you were having some sort of problem and were working very hard tp fix it (and that it was fixed yesterday) but I am still getting this error 403 message. I've contacted my domain registar (via forum post) to reload the dns on my domain and am waiting. Is there anything else that could possibly be going wrong? (i admit to be new at this and not an expert so I would appreciate lay-mans terms if it's not too much trouble)
Any and help is very much appreciated!! Thank You.

the problem was fix. there was a problem and a 12 hr unexpected downtime but if you are still getting the 403 error then your DNS didnt upload local. Make sure you have an index.html and index.php on your root '/'
