Ive never really got into CSS because after a day of fiddling i usually lose my temper and scrap everything. And the way things are going at the moment im heading down the same way.

Now...

Now it works in Firefox - however mess's my layout up and make the blue box - as im sure you can see rather large.

And in IE it just doesnt work at all.

Can someone help me fix these problems. If you cant or your gonna make stupid comments save both mine and your time with responding. Ive been on many forums today and no-1 has yet to come up with a actual solution to my problems.

Hey mate. thanks for your suggestion. The reason i used this one is so i got away from the javascript as i currently use a javascript one that to me works perfectly fine.

However so many people tell me to stay away from javascript and start using CSS.

never saw a dropdown menu working on IE6 7 and FF at same time without using any JS.

why not use JS ? really i don't know, some people say its because it must be enabled so people see the content, i guess everyone enabled JS on their PC's. Why not ? i donno,

still i think JS is a safe / good way to do so, plus it works everywhere and browsers actually don't read it differently (when it comes o dropdown menus at least..)

I'm using a drop down made by this cssplay.co.uk site also. It works perfectly in IE 5.5 -> 7 -> Firefox, etc. The version I have chosen can be found at. http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menus/final_drop.html It takes some fiddling around with but I'm sure you will be able to get it. If you would like I can post my source code which is in another topic here, of how I got it to work for me. Then once its done you can check it out @ http://www.browsershots.org
