Hi guys,

I installed WordPress a while ago, and now I kind of wanted to add a plugin that shows the stats about the visitors and such (WordPress.com Stats)
It requires an API to connect to my WordPress account in order to start working, so I registered and tried to enter the API code for this plugin, but this happened:

"Error from last API Key attempt:

Your blog was unable to connect to WordPress.com. Please ask your host for help. (transport error - could not open socket: )“

And when I tried another plugin (Akismet), the same happened, they both say that they cannot connect to their servers.
So I was wondering if it's possible to get connection or what not.

please help,
thanks guys~
