Did something just happen to the webservers?

One moment I was uploading and browsing one of the sites i run. The next it was down. I get:
QUOTE
503 Service Unavailable
Failed to resolve the name of server xxxxxx.uuuq.com to connect


And are unable to connect to the ftp as well.


Edit:
Seem to be up and running again now. But it lacks support for some special signs. My site is in norweigan, we have the letters æ ø å.
It also seems to be missing "©"
