Whatever happened to win a free domain? It's advertised on the free web-hosting index but I can't find it anywhere on my control panel.

You know you can get free domain at co.cc ?

It was stopped a while ago. It might come back with the release of the new version of Zymic.

.co.cc domains are free only for the first year (see FAQ > General Questions > Can I use my free domain forever?)

if you need a lifetime free domain name:

go to www.tk (but the free version is redirect-only)

or go to www.uni.cc

co.cc obviously the best. but now they have place limit of 1 year , i guess its better to buy a domain. wont cost 5-9 USD per year.

I hope the free domain comes back again. People with many websites will love the free domain feature.
