Pretty much the same as MrCracker, probably since we're using the same isp and probably close. I got better results connecting to the san francisco server though, maybe the NY one is busy.

Yay! I no longer have the slowest download speed on the planet.

Now maybe if everyone calls the phone and cable company we can convince them to run their lines down my road.

I love this game smile.gif

I just upgraded to Verizon FiOS a month or so ago:

It used to be much, much worse. My max upload went from 50kb/s to 225. Hellz yeah.
Jack
Yep, my ISP suck bad. They won't fix my line problem, and I don't want to move ISP's any time soon (if I do I'll be 2 weeks or however long it takes to change ISP's without the internet, and with v6 just opened etc, that's not possible).

My 8mb line, with the exchange less than 5 mins away, can't beat Orange.

Apart from ping, a low ping is better.

I did one from the three local servers to me, it says tampa was the recommended one, but miami has a WAY better ping. So I dunno

I hate Embarq (Sprint DSL, they changed their name) We used to have cable through Road Runner, and it was so much faster, and we don't have any other options, comcast bought out Road Running in our area and Verizon FIOS doesn't cover our area (because embarq has this market). So it's pretty much a monopoly here but can't be considered one since you have a choice, gay fast Cable or cheaper okay DSL. sad.gif

Alex - I just want to make it clear that you should verify his claims before giving out any personal information, the fact that they ask for it at all is peculiar. If you do want a resolution, approach their support through the normal channels, using information provided on Embarq's website, not that in the below post.
