I set up my new account a wednesday night only to find out that the server is down and will be down for three days. I'm now reading in this forum that the server is back online, except it is still not letting me publish my first site. I have no idea how this website really works now.. I thought I did...but now i'm not sure.

Hi all. I know everythings real busy right now, but I signed up in november last year and every single time I have tried to activate the free hosting account, the service just isn't available for whatever reason.
I am a patient person and this place is highly recommended but I'm starting to loose a little faith here...
Could this be an issue on my end that's easy fixed or am I just completely missing the times when you are actually up and running?

I just joined this web hosting and came by it by accident and so far I like what I see. My luck Zymic had to do a transfer and like always in my life I have to wait for something good. Said that I find about 90% of the post on this tread funny to read and some what childish.

2. They seem to have a good up time but, you are not paying so it will never be 100% or even the 99.9% thats the nature of FREE.
3. Just to move a great amount of data from one host to another, not really easy and yet not hard but, still issues will happen.
4. I still cannot add a host account as of yet wish I could. I can wait cause I did after yesterday go look for another free hosting site came across a few but WOW to many rules.

That's odd. I just tried to "Create a New Web Host Account" and I am still receiving the message that says that will be down for 3 days due to the server transfer. But, that's okay. As so many people have stated, this is a free service. So I will be patient and wait until the wonderful admins at Zymic are able to bring it back up.

MySQL seems to be up and functioning (Drupal loaded) but it seems like www.uuuq.com/phpmyadmin just times out.
Otherwise, the new server is working great! I've never seen such loading times on a US-based server.

Registration is offline until our DNS servers propagate. I'll update the message to reflect this.

i too am having trouble with phpmyadmin it times out upon loading for me.

Phpmyadmin is running rather slow, Bread (who is the one that made the whole transfer process happen) said he will be looking into causes and solutions tomorrow. This does not mean it will be fixed tomorrow, but he will try his best.
phpmyadmin does load for me and him, but it took us both over 2 minutes for the page to fully load. If your browser times out before this, you may wish to try another browser (although that is a long time to wait, it will have to do if you need immediate access to anything in phpmyadmin).

Nope, i just downloaded my database through ZCP by using PHPmyadmin.
It works perfectly.
Give it a try again, may be it will work this time. Try to clear your browser cache and then try to load it.

The server is up for the existing sites, but i think is down for new registration.
They are working on it. And will be back soon in action.

I just accessed my site about 10 minutes ago and when I tried to access it again it was unable to do so. ( I tried both ftp and through the control panel).

well to be honest I do value my site. It happens to be my school project and since I am only 15 (this upcomming thursday) I don't have a credit card to use to pay for a host.
vampirelovr he was directing that at people who were complaining. You can always get a debit card to use to pay for a host instead, you are old enough. I believe in the uk you can get one when your 13 or something with HSBC. Don't quote me on that though.

The server doesn't "steal" your files, and also we do recommend that you keep a local copy of them as well.

I'm also waiting like you. They said "3 days" but 3000 days have passed and they are still playing. I can rarely access even my site. I am sick of this service. I can move to a different place but the problem is the data I'm having in MySQL databases.I can't get a copy bcoz they are playing with the databases also. It will be better if they play with a football rather than playing with these things.
