1) It hasn't been 3000 days, if you look when it started on Jun 9th 2009, and it's now June 18th 2009 you will see 9days. Quite a big difference from 3000 days huh?

2) All the stuff that is happening with the sites now is temporary, it's to make the server better just takes time.

3) If you are sick of it why are you here? You can always pop on to IRC for updates and further help with your sites.

I think you should just be a patient, yes it may have taken a bit more than 3 days but as it said in the first post its and estimate. This is a FREE service, of course it's not going to be up to standards of paid hosts. If you don't want any of this to make the server better then you can always get premium hosting here http://zymic.com/free-web-hosting/premium

I am behaving like this bcoz I don't have all the day to work with my site. Whenever I try to access my site/account (through FTP and browser), it doesn't work!

Dude, take a chill pill, you'll have a heart attack before it gets completely resolved. As mentioned before, if you're fed up then simply move, I'm sure there's other free hosts out there. Do you make money from your site or something? You're a shoddy businessman if you do - free hosting, using a subdomain as a web address. Do you not realise that FREE sites are for people testing or experimenting with site design, people who don't want to 'go live' on their REAL domain, or that are just happy to have a site on the WWW for free; not commercially but just for fun. Outages aren't fun but that shouldn't affect any of your files or data. After all you must have uploaded them from somewhere.

3 choices I offer you:
1/ MOVE somewhere where you'll be happy, for your health's sake.
2/ Open your wallet and buy a domain and hosting service and be happy.
3/ Wait patiently like the rest of us.

It's annoying (it annoys me) but nothing to lose sleep over and when it is I'll move, end of!! I am simply testing my site here until I buy my hosting service and domain so it bothers me little.

I couldn't have said that better! Dude needs a hole prescription of chill pills, I'd say! I'm brand new to this site and haven't had the chance to start setting up anything yet, and like everyone else, I'm a little put out about the problems. However, putting things into perspective, change is required for improvements, and with change comes some level of discomfort.

Must be more frustrating not being able to upload a new site that it is for me to not see what's already uploaded.

Please be patient and I'm sure it'll be sorted out, soon. I must admit, tho, that the uuuq domains do seem to be more unstable that the previous domains for some reason.

You get what you pay for. For me it's worth these little trials because you get a lot of functionality for free - which some people seem to forget!

Well, apparently the hosting service is experiencing some difficulties after a server transfer. Be patient and write the ideas in your head down on paper. :-)

Seriously, this is the most professional looking FREE host that I have come across. My site is for testing out PHP/MySQL/Javascript web development. I'm hopeful that this outage will end soon and things will be back up and running. Until then I guess I'll just check out the forums for interesting stuff.

I too hope that it will be back online soon, I'd like to start building a site, but I'm not in any particular hurry.
Zymec seems to offer amazing features, free of charge. The fact that there isn't even a requirement to host adverts amazes me, and they can take as long as they want if that's the only catch.

For those who don't agree, this image shows quite clearly why I feel this way. If It's going to be good and cheap, you can hardly expect it to be quick aswell.

Yes, I think deleting a website would be a great feature to add (if it's not already added). I have a site domain I registered, but don't need it anymore. So far it's redirecting to another of my sites.

And whenever I try to connect, I get this:

Hey, I'm a little frustrated too, but Zymic is the only web host that has so many features (even more) than a paid hosting company. If you're willing to leave just because of a few days of downtime, then you should host your site from your own dedicated server. And they're saying that they are sorry for the short notice, and are working very hard. If you don't appreciate that, then maybe it's good that you're leaving Zymic.

Ive just registerd and i tried to create my webhost thing but it says it will be availible in 3 days and its been 10 ?
So what can i do?
As i really need it now and have been looking for this site for ages and have seen the features it has for free members and has same if not more than what other payed ones do so i really need to know when itll be back and ready to use cause i dont wona keep looking for new ones.

Come on IRC and we can delete your account for you. Also anyone else who can't access their site also come on IRC, it work's fine for me. The only problem is the new account form, which you will be informed abut when it's back. There are reasons for it being off-line, not just to annoy you.

Come on! When the free registration will return to normal? I just quit a paid host (they raised their prices) and I need my site online as soon as possible. Can anyone from the stuff give an answer to this question. I see the problem persists for more than 10 days now.

Ah yes, you've set your domain not via the nameservers so it's still pointing to the old server(which surprisingly is still up), because we had to move server the IP address has changed, please update the record to point to :

There's no CNAME record to what I can see, just an A name record.

Ummm, where to begin... Seems kike you have not read much of the previous thread. The "stuff" as you call them have explained before that they are expecting things to resolve as soon as possible. We're all frustrated but most of us have the good manners to patiently wait for such a fantastic FREE service to return. Your site, whether you realize this or not, is no more important than anyone else's site - this means you wait with the rest of us, unless you choose to use their premium service. In fact, and this has been pointed out before in this thread, if you need you site up that bad - use another PAID host that is less expensive than the one you left. I'm 100% positive that the Zymic staff are working as hard as they can. Give 'em a break and stand in line. This is the most professional looking FREE host site that I've found, I'm going to wait politely and quietly until the trasfer is complete.

Ok, just joined a few days ago. Not really complaining, just wondering if anyone has an update. I want to switch from freewebs to here because it offers more coding, but it has been awhile that the site has been down, or so I hae seen.

Either tomorrow or Wednesday it should be back.

I managed to upload one HTML page a 3 jalbum galleries this morning, using WS_FTP.

I can view them and the site OK too. See!! Site and content still in test/pre-production stage.

I just hope the stability issues are resolved also.

Although I must say that scrolling through the album can be a 'paint drying' experience at times. The images occasionally take ages to appear.

Hopefully this is something that will speed up and become consistent soon.

Thanks for the kind words. I was checking them at work so it was probably an overloaded network slowing speeds down. I've gone through most of the galleries at home tonight and all seems to be fine. They're running smooth and fast now.

hey I just created a new account, and it won't let me log in. I know I'm using the right password. I tried reseting my password but it says my username is wrong (tried using my website username and my whole account username) when is everything gonna work 100% again?

We're looking into this - trying to work out if it's a recurring problem.
