Hello, I have just joined Zymic hosting and I love the speed and uptime so far! However, I signed up last week with the (crazy?) idea of launching my site within the week. But now, a week later, my site still sits with "The Future Home of SZ Productions" splash page.

The problem is, I just can't choose! I was hoping that if anybody looks at this thread, they could take a look at the designs and tell me which they like best, and why?

My site is basically a site for a small multimedia and game company composed of me and a couple of my classmates called SZ Productions.

But, we're getting off topic, basically, we want to put up a site to show development of our current projects, etc. We will have features integrated with MyBB forum software to allow users to register and login to access download games and demos, and other community features. We want to choose the site that best meets not only the requirements that our site will need (a search box, a login box, etc) but we want the site to look and feel "professional".

If possible, I would like input on which site seems the best to you, and why? All theses are simple mockups, so please do not look for graphical glitches, or anything like that. Don't pay attention to links, or logos, or dummy "fake" news texts, as they will be changed. Strictly asthetically which would you prefer and why?

Just a note, all of these sites were made 100% by me in Dreamweaver, or are just Photoshop mock-ups. Please don't stealy.


This was an early design, for a "professional" site. It IS based on a free template you can find on the web, however it is heavily modified.



I liked the "whimsicality" of this design. The buttons at the top are scripted to "pop-up" as the mouse hovers over them.



Pretty much, cut and dry default Dreamweaver template. I liked this template for its "cleanness" and "professional" appearance, while still remaining "light".



I love this one, its basically a toss up for me between this and the first one, however I want to see others' opinions, please!

Any feedback is greatly appreciated, you could even say for example I like "xxx" with the "xxx" from "xxx"

I would definitely go with the first one. It is the most professional out of them all and has the potential to be a nice layout. Like you said, the logo could use a refresh.

First one is best, Its not perfect but its the best of all of those, it looks professional and has a clean look to it

And tbh I like the idea of the second one...It just needs some improvements

Lol! That is pretty funny! Does yours have a special meaning to you as well? There's not many "professional" words that start with a "Z". (Well of course, besides Zymic!!) For us, the "SZ" stands for an inside joke that only the four of us know.

If anyone asks directly, we tell them it stands for "super zany" but thats not what it is
