The menu is activated from the "Administration" section after you log in to your site. There you have some choices as to what appears on your menu
LimitedEdition
Can you not read the docs like ?

Have installed drupal 6.1 and have detected an error or reduced functionality to Drupal on zymic

CODE
HTTP request status    Fails
Your system or network configuration does not allow Drupal to access web pages, resulting in reduced functionality. This could be due to your webserver configuration or PHP settings, and should be resolved in order to download information about available updates, fetch aggregator feeds, sign in via OpenID, or use other network-dependent services.

Also the "Clean URL"s cannot be enabled on zymic's server.

Thanks for allowing us to learn about CMS and running and installing CMS on your server
wozzym
is this after it is already installed?
satu
yeah. The server seems to be running in some kind of SAFE MODE which causes things like changing the garland theme colours to not work. Will see if the DRUPAL site has something on this.
wozzym
yes safe mode is on for security reasons. Drupal does work though and you can see it here

Have you looked at the installation manual on the drupal site? for bugs/issues
satu
Noticed some strange file names among the files in my account. didn't put them there. not sure how it got there but now my website is just blank. NO error, no message, just blank.

Might just remove drupal and try again with nanocms

The 'HTTP request status: Fails' message occurs because Zymic are running in 'SAFE' mode.

Although your Drupal status screen does not look pretty (with yellow and red warnings/errors) in fact, your drupal site will work fine. Auto update, OpenID & Aggregator will not work but those are either rarely used or easily worked around.

Enjoy!

Generally, you read this sort of thing in the manual BEFORE you install it.
