and now Billy Mays.

Yes I heard about Billy Mays' death this morning

Too many people dying now. It's awkward how his wife was relating the death to the flight.

Obviously, Heaven can't wait!

Death of our beloved is not in our control, it is God’s wish that should be obeyed by us. The thing that disturbs me most after the death of any superstar is that many professional people try to get publicity by raising some controversies.

Death of Michael was great sorrow to me. I was really socked to hear about his death.

Thats not entirely true. I legally died a few years and I managed to avoid it temporarily. Of course that is because of doctors, but I still avoided it. Why accept death if you can sneak past it?

I see Les Paul dies the other day, he lived a long life and performed well into his 90s.

As much as anyone else he was the inventor/creator/developer of the electric guitar. Now here was a man whose creations enabled so may other people to create. And that says something.

people die every day, they died and will die every day .....but the more television and internet we have, the more people seem to die....

it's all optical, so to say, ilussion.....

You're right of course. Sometimes there is an unusual streak where lots of people die, but even that is just a statistical abberation, and not part of any trend.

i noticed this as well... Everyone is getting older. We need more younger celebrities...

People are dying everyday around the WORLD and all you people care about are the few people who lived a much better life than most people living in the WORLD today.

I actually dont give a damn about any of the recent celebrate deaths (except maybe Bernie Mack, Heath Ledger, and Michael Jackson). I just thought it was weird that a bunch of "famous" people died in a short period of time.

OMFG, I read in the obituary column that Joe Smith from Medicine Hat died in a nursing home today, He was 76. Oh yeah, and there was another newspaper vendor who got killed by a car bomb in Baghdad yesterday.

Give your head a shake dude, I realize that this might be too deep for you, but famous people get talked about, in life as well as in death. That's what fame is about. And this is a thread about famous people. If you wanna talk about kids in Africa who are starving, or Joe shmo who ran his car into a telephone pole while drunk, then start a freaking thread about it, you might be surprised who does and does not respond.
