my friend bought us a domain name www.areafinest.com and he put in the right nameservers
"ns1.uuuq.com and ns2.uuuq.com "

but when i try to add a custom name i get this...
"This domain is disallowed. This domain cannot be added, since it is currently resolving to an IP address. Please try adding this domain again when it is no longer registered. "

can anyone help us get this to work please? thanks for your help in advance

How long ago did you set the nameservers? There's a dns propagation period of up to 48 hours.

oh really? my friend changed it about 15min ago, and he said it told him it only takes a few minutes.. but i guess i will have to wait and see. thanks for the fast reply any other help would be greatly appreciated

At my domain service they sent me a message:

1. Could not obtain SOA record for shabelnik.ru from ns2.uuuq.com.(66.90.68.163, 66.90.68.163)
Server not available: 66.90.68.163 - TCP
Server not available: 66.90.68.163 - UDP

2. Could not obtain SOA record for shabelnik.ru from ns1.uuuq.com.(66.90.68.162, 66.90.68.162)

Please try to correct the problems before the next check
retry in 3 hours.

A check? From this end, your domain still has the wrong nameservers set, they're currently set to the following:



Does your registrar not allow you to set new nameservers unless the domain exists on the other system? Ask them to make an exception if this is the case.

Hello again.

1) I've taken another domain shabelnik.fr at another registar and after my demand to make an exception and put nameservers ns1.uuuq.com and ns2.uuuq.com they answered "Please be advised that your name servers can not be forced. The French registry is rejecting these name servers. You have to correct this issue first."

2) And that is another answer for my second demand explaining that I have the same problems with another registar.
"Please be advised that the French registry is very strict, we can not put your name servers as long as they have not been correctly set-up."

3)I called to AFNIC, they sad that it's impossible make an exception and to put this nameservers because of very strict rule.

What should I do?
