Think about it, In a search engine search they are more likley to come up,
I mean, common how many people search "Porn" on google and are very likley to have Porn.com show up?
Its pure strategy.

Those domain are classic domains. Some one can guess those domains and get to the website. Now, I cannot guess zymic is a website. I wish I had a domain like that. I would be swimming in a pool with money.

These values are not constant. The values posted by ABC have to be based on raw start meaning they don't care about the sites popularity nor ranking. I think this is completely mis-categorized. If they wish to keep this label for this listing then Google.com is definitely worth more than all of those combined because of popularity.

It's amazing how much money people earns on domain names. There's a certain pattern in he list which will determine the things that matter to people and it's money, sex, and diamonds (fund.com, porn.com, diamonds.com). Does anyone notice this?

I was too young to get most of those domain names unfortunately. The Internet should have waited a few more years so I could own all of them. I bought as many as I could when I first started using the internet but nothing like those...jeez.

I think this where sites that were traded. Because if I would make a top I would look in alexa and Google will be the most expensive domain ( but it's not for sale ).

Wow. I can see how sites with those domain names would immediately be high ranking, but still.. millions!?! Just.. wow. I wonder how much a domain name would cost with a brand.. like google.com or facebook.com or I don't know.. target.com. Is the resale rendered useless because it's all in the branding? Just curious. I'm sure there would be a ton of legal repercussions. Not sure if I'm articulating it properly, but yeah.. thanks for the info!

There are expensive domain names mainly because they're the shortest direct main keywords you use in SEO. That's actually the main case because using these short but direct domain names, they won't be relying mostly on organic traffic from SE but more on direct traffic since it's easier and faster to type in toys.com than to open a new tab, hit your favorite search engine, type toys, select the most fitting result isn't it?
