OK I have been having major problem with my Adobe Dreamweaver and Contribute actually sending my files that I have either made or edited to the FTP at all. I mean I have done all of the modifications that I have needed to do to make them work but it says that I still have no access at all to editing it. Its a major problem because I want to actually send my files to the FTP and my file manager but it is not allowing me to do so each time I try and come and look and see if it has changed at all when I send them with Dreamweaver and then nothing happens for Contribute besides the error of saying that it can not gain access or control to edit the file on the server end.

Could someone help me out with this problem?

Each time I test it says that its connection is successful

You could always download another client and try that. I recommend 'smartFTP' or 'FileZilla'. Both of them are free, I believe. Another thing you may want to check is the port your connecting through. Port 21 is the one I use and it works fine.

well I mean I actually use that port and it was working before hand but it actually started to just mess up now for some reason...now I am going to have to fix the problem n stuff...but is there another port that would work

Only port 21 will work. We're having some problems at the moment, which may be the cause of it not working any more:

Vndv just went down (or more accurately, some ISPs are not routing to it properly) which may explain why it's not connecting at all at the moment.

OK well I actually have the old uuuq.com name still on one of my web hosts




Well is there a possible time until the Vndv will be up and running then
