I CAN'T log into the database!! I have no idea what's wrong. Name and PW entered as described, but no. I keep entering and it keeps asking for them

My issue is resolved. It seems that there is a restriction of 16 characters while entering the database name and user for wordpress. Try entering the db and the user name <= 16 characters and you should be good.
