Sorry if this question has been answered already or this is in the wrong place. I just figured it'd fit in here. But I'm trying to apply mods to my SMF but I come up with this error:

"Sorry, your PHP configuration doesn't have support for zlib. Without this, the package manager cannot function. Please contact your host about this for more information."

I was wondering if there's a fix to this or this is some sort of security thing or anything along those lines. Anyone?

i had the same problem...they dont have zlib and arent going to activate it...i was sad...im working on trying to fix this by modding the forums on a seperate site and then putting the files on my site here...you cant use the package manager however you can install the mods manually...but i have too many to install so i dont really feel like going into all the files that need to be changed to install it...lol hope that helps
