Is there anyway of making my site searchable on Google?

One is to buy an actual domain, don't know if you can do it otherwise.

You could try adding your site to Google, however if they have it set up here so their domains don't show, then I don't think that will work.

That's strange. I added my site to google just fine.

It accepted it fine when I tried a while back, but I don't know if it actually shows up on Google search results. If it does though, that's great.

No, it does. I've googled myself on numerous occasions and find my website.

I had this problem here too no sites appear to be search able on google, i shut my site down because of this, i was using optimized phbb3, fine on other hosting but here it was never indexed by google.

Zymic must be doing something right, I've had forum posts and the web show up in search results (nice being on the 1 thru 5 pages in the Google search) of course adding the meta tags for keywords and description helps that ability out greatly.
