Full Version: Why Does Webpage Flash A White Screen Each Time...

Why does my webpage flash a white screen each time I click a link within the page? If you click a link it won't reload the new page without flashing a white screen. I'd like the page to update similar to how Zymic's webpage updates when you click one of the links above (i.e. zymic home, forum index). Basically, I want only a portion of the page to be reloaded.

What exactly is causing this? Is it a server side (Zymic/VNDV) issue, Wordpress Issue? Or is it something else completely within the code of my theme?

I believe I may have to implement an AJAX plugin? Any clue?

Sorry, I'm new to Wordpress and PHP in general. But it's hard to search and learn about this issue when it's hard to describe what's going on, thanks in advance.

flash image is loading... so the browser fills it with blank white space until it connects to the server and starts downloading the flash

My page is a pretty basic wordpress theme. No flash, the main index, a sidebar, header/footer, and some tabs. Each time I click a Tab, I want it to just refresh part of the content within the page without reloading entire page.

N/M, figured it out. I changed the Blog URL address setting in general settings within WP, and it was causing this.
