I believe in evolution, so my response would be the egg. Obviously the egg that contains the hen would have to be the result of either crossbreading or evolving, but the egg had to have come first.
i thought the saying was the chicken and the egg.
Its like asking who came first, the parent or the child? Basing on the bible it would be the hen.

I think egg first and then Hen.
I think first born was without parents for sure so egg should be first.
