I'm not really sure if anyone posted this before, but Chris Pederick released an Firefox extension called WebDeveloper. I use it for all my work and its just an awesome extension. I would strongly suggest that all designers/developers use this extension.

Yes, in-built CSS editing is what I use all the time when hand coding styles.

I heard there was another extension similar to this. Never tried it but I really like this one.

I use this mostly to help people fix problems with their site using the live HTML/CSS editor. It is quite handy.

I use Web Dev. I have honestly never tried Firebug.
