I have been trying to install WordPress. I've setup a mySQL database and username. I've provided the WordPress file with this information. However, I receive an error while running the installation:

http://thebluedive.vndv.com/wp-admin/install.php

I've also tried to access phpMyAdmin; however, I can't seem to do that either.

Here is how I've entered the information.

Database Name: thebluedive_databasename
Database User: thebluedive_username
Host: localhost

(databasename and username I replaced with the names I created)

Am I entering the information wrong? Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, why can't I enter phpMyAdmin?

I've attached the file in question. The password has been removed for security reasons.

I'm afraid the database username has to be less than 16 characters in total...

Try changing to thebluedive_db (or similar).
