Can someone help me? I uploaded my brand-new page but when I key it into my browser I get a 'Forbidden' message. Is this because of my permission settings? Could someone advise because I haven't got a pot of glue.

Forbidden simply means it won't list the directory's contents, if you create a file named either of the following:

• index.html
• index.htm
• index.php

The forbidden message will disappear.

No they don't. You have to install your own Directory Listing Script if you would like to use it.

Proven... because you have to install one to make Saurdo Gallery work... (also try making a directory full of images, won't work)
