I am trying to attach a domain name to our site. The guy who bought the domain name has point it to.

ns1.zxq.net

ns2.zxq.net

He pointed it there early this morning.

However when I enter

www.deterant.co.uk in the right place via the CP I get

QUOTE

This domain is disallowed. This domain cannot be added, since it is currently resolving to an IP address. Please try adding this domain again when it is no longer registered.

Your domain has yet to propagate and still points to the following nameservers:

ns1.cheapdomainsuk.com
ns2.cheapdomainsuk.com

You need to wait a day or so, once it has propagated the system will accept the domain.

Additionally, your domain is not 'www.deterant.co.uk' it is 'deterant.co.uk', 'www.' is a subdomain.

I will continue to try throughout Friday to get this to attach.

Extra, you won't be able to use sub domain unless you have a domain on it already.

The domain name now points to the website
