What can i do to improve this ?
well, i see you're getting the hang of it now.
The navigation is very good, i like that. i see you have a color scheme too. looking good. the plastic effect is nice. the design is eye-catching yet consistent. A very good start.
However, the little star on the "news" box just doesn't go. plastic+glitter=big no-no. Also, the font used in "Your Site Here" is a serif font - not what you would associate with this plastic style. I'd suggest a light Sans Serif font to go there but you can experiment like you want. Also, more content. Big white space. needs breaking up.
Keep up the good work.

the dark shadow under the "News" bit, you should of put that as "Soft Light" on layer styles, instead of turning opacity down...
and change colour green.. though after saying that my eyes got used to it after 5 mins of looking at it.

The green is a bit bright, maybe tone it down a bit. Try adding some content and give it a distinct logo and header and you will have a nice layout. You are definitely getting better though.

Maybe it would look better if you make a bigger version of the news box for content, right now the content area is plain...
And when you do code it make the rollover on the navigation so that the text becomes that same dark color used in other places

Everyone else gave what I was going to say already. You try using the Lorem Ipsum generator I showed you, and maybe separate the content.
first of all...this is a very nice design...it is sleek and compact...which is excellent...to imporve it, i would add some more content in the large white space...it looks too empty...however, the design is great and i would definitely work that...keep it up!

well everyone already said what needs to be done. Add more contact. and personally i don't mind the lens flare at the corner of the news box.
