That really doesn't surprise me, gossip tends to outweigh current affairs by a mile in America. An American can probably back up that claim.

the media is all about gossip and hiding what really happens in the world. ESPECIALLY the war in Iraq. the U.S wastes more money on private companies in Iraq than on our actual soldiers.
Actually, i learned in my economics class about this one soldier who is trained to fix radios. So the government sent in a contractor for the soldier to train to fix radios. the contractor ended up taking the soldiers job, while the soldier who was already trained to fix the radios had to go on watch shifts.
...government wastes money and the media hides it.....
only because corporations basically own the media because they have to much money, they can buy the media so that they only tell what the corporations want them to tell.

I pretty much never believe a lot of news stuff i read online unless its from Yahoo! or CNN.com.
but even now i'm starting to wonder if that kind of stuff is believable or not.

The media always overexaggerate things. However, Spears' sister is 16 and pregnant. Which does not leave much to the reader. 16 and pregnant is just plain pathetic IMO. Christ, in New Zealand, you would have just gotten legal permission to have SEX, let alone get pregnant (not that there's an age on that, lol).
Also note - she's only "famous" because of her sister. She digs fame from Britney. She doesn't earn it. As a matter of fact. Britney Spears is an retard and doesn't deserve most of her fame either...

Sad but true. Most Americans are obsessed with gossip. Looks like CNN is trying to make a buck.

Gossip always gets the first page, its sad really. There are more important things happening in the world then Britney Spears' sister being pregnant
