I've been asking these for a few days now, but I got no response from the people on the IRC and I couldn't find answers to these after searching the forums numerous times.

Well, here goes...

1. Are project bug/release tracking PHP/MySQL scripts (such as Mantis) allowed to be hosted on Zymic? I wanted to make a few programs/code projects but I didn't know if bugtrackers such as this was allowed or not. This isn't a torrent tracker in case anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about.

2. Do MySQL databases on Zymic have a limit to the amount of tables, fields, data, etc that can be stored in them? I'm running a forum on my website but I don't want to run out of room for posts and stuff.

3. I see that you're not allowed to have chatrooms on Zymic-hosted websites. Does this count for stuff like shoutbox mods for forums? I'd like to have a shoutbox on my page but I'm not sure if it qualifies as a chatroom or not.

Thanks.
Jacob

There is nothing wrong with the content or aim of this application. I would just be checking that it passes our PHP restrictions.

Nope. If your databases/tables get too large, we will speak to you before doing anything.

No, they are not allowed. It is because of the requests sent to the server and the strain it places on services.

Thank you very much. The support here is great, unlike the host I just moved from. smile.gif

Hi,
I'm interested in using Mantis as well.
Do you have it running? Can you share the information of how you did it?
Thanks.
