Hi,
don't know if this is the right place to ask but... I've uploaded a template called ProFolio (which uses php files) and am getting the attached messages on my site Click to view attachment.

I'm wondering if this is a problem at the hosting end (the ProFolio maker seems to think so), maybe I need to set up certain permissions or something..

Don't know if it's relevant but I've added a new MySQL database and launched PHPMyAdmin (even though I barely know what this means).

Any help would be much appreciated.

It's an error in the php script - it's trying to refer to variables it hasn't set.

Thanks Swordz, any ideas as to what I can do?
(I have contacted the maker of my theme and he hasn't seen such messages before, just suggested I check with my hosting provider.)
This is all basically a foreign language to me unfortunately.

Hi as Swordz has mentioned, there is a problem with the script. I dont think this has got anything to do with the hosting. You will have to open the PHP source file go over to the specific line and understand why the error is being thrown and rectify it. You will be able to do this if you are proficient in PHP, else you may need to get back to the author of the script to rectify the problem.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your answer, it seems odd that this theme is used by hundreds of people and the author hasn't seen the problem before, but I guess there are lots of variables (and I know nothing about this stuff). I guess maybe I'll pester him again.

Cheers
