Some websites on the net infringe on copyright, and some are just plain immoral filled with racist articles. Is there any way to remove these websites? There's a particular one that sparked my attention, and it was very racist toward Muslims. (I'm Muslim) So is there anything I can do about it? I tried a whois.

The website is shelleytherepublican.com (If it is not allowed to be posted, just remove it and keep the post please.)

So any help guys?
Thanks smile.gif

There is absolutely no way you can remove a website yourself. To get it "removed" as such you'd have to contact it's host (in this case, HostGator).

So is there like a particular law against racism, or should I look in HostGator's terms of service for it? Would they actually care?

HostGator would care. Especially if it's illegal. And it is. There is a law against racism and prejudisicm. Especially if it's a hate crime (like Hitler had on Jewish people or the KKK have on black people, for instance).

I'll take a look at HostGators Terms & Conditions for you, but I suggest you look it over yourself for good measure lol. And even if it's nothing concerning this issue is in the Terms (which it should be), it's still illegal as it breaks the Human Rights Act.

EDIT: By the way, I can see why you have problems with this website, in the terms of it being racist towards Muslims. Because it is. The author also despises any non-Christian or non-God believers.

EDIT #2: This site could be deemed against HostGators Terms of Service.

QUOTE("HostGator Terms of Service @ Section 2, Paragraph 4")
