Full Version: Massive Data Loss In Database
My logs indicate that around 3:16 AM server time on the morning of 1/7/2010 I began receiving "Unable to save result set" errors from the database. When I accessed my site this morning, I found that around 10,000 records had simply disappeared from the database, which manifested as data integrity violations in the application software (almost 900 threads with no posts in them). There doesn't appear to be a pattern in which records disappeared.
