Love the web.. and what it has offered over the years. We were on the web when it was message based in the 80's and ran BBS's ( the in item of the day ) with FIDONet, GTPowerNet, RBBSNet, VetLink and more... Our one page site on this server is here: http://www.softvision.zymichost.com/ excuse the fodder till I investigate and see why my contact script will not work. It's plug and play and has been since php3, then 4 and 5. I usually present that as the first option. I removed a few video's we did for the troops

The main thing I have been doing these days ( beside being over 60 and having fun ) is a site for a Green Beret/Afghanistan Vet named Trevor Drown. He is running as an independent in Arkansas for the US Senate. ( http://trevordrown.ning.com ). Ning was chosen as if offers a lot of pluged in items ( why reinvent the wheel ) at no cost to build community around ones issue or election. It's been up 2 weeks and it's starting to get busy. We just finished the basic CSS interface for the site, and original design just for
his campaign.

One problem with Ning is I can not run custom form scripts from their site.. and wanted to ad a contact form, volunteer form, donation and mail Arkansas Press form for users..
so I started looking around for a free service ( hsi campaign is grass roots and he is up against deep pockets ) for him so he could register and I could build and run the scripts
from that site.

Other than.. our time on earth is numbered and I intend to enjoy ever last minute of whats left helping people I know like Trevor.

Hey and welcome to the community. The reason your contact form won't work is because PHP Mail() is disabled to discourage spammers. Also, remote connections are disabled.
Apart from that, we are a fairly open community.

Thanks for the welcome. We can leave that page up or remove the account if it's taking up space. Other than php mail disabled, it's a nice service for any one who wants just a basic setup for free. I need to find one for Trev where the mail function operates.
