I can not export or down load my mysql database.
I am reasonably sure I am doing everything right, but apparently not. I have other databases on other servers and I'm doing the same thing here as I do there, but with no success.
I go to phpmyadmin pull up my database, click export, click select all, click sql option, click save as file, then leave everything else default, (Structure is already chosen), then click go.
After waiting as long as 20 minutes the download file window finally pops up with an empty "export.php" file. It doesn't even have the ".sql" file extension.
I can download in other formats, cvs, cvs for ms excell, ect. but not using sql.
Please point me in the right direction.

after loading phpMyAdmin click from the list on the left, on the database you want to export, then on the right side click on the Export tab.

Yes this is excatly what I am doing.
