Hoping someone can assist me

I have a file Created on Microsoft Excel that I would like to be made a download from my website
How do I go about this .

I have tried uploading it as a zip file to the html folder and used the link www.banburyasl.zymichost.com/rc.zip
when I click on the link I get a page saying 404 error

any suggestions would much appreciated

The method you just used should work unless you uploaded the file in the wrong directory. You can also upload the excel file as is.

I have rechecked and found I had put a full spot at the end of the link, removed it and now works ok.
