Hi everyone, I was wondering what was going with the servers. I have 2 accounts, one at 99k.org and another at vndv.com; I have had mostly trouble with the 99k, it does not load very often, now on both, they are not letting me upload CSS and .JS files. Im using FTP. Should I abandon these 2 and create new accounts? I need both of them. Another thing is when I try to connect to the server via FTP, it will often fail, sometimes it will connect on the second try.

I'm not sure if this is the best place to put this, but recently I'm having a lot of problems with my .zxq site. It works, but only sometimes. I'd say that about 50% of the time my pages will load, however the rest of the time I either get a "can't display this website" or a "502 proxy error". The problem seems to leak into my filezilla ftp client as well. It operates very slowly and frequently disconnects and then, after about 5 reconnect attempts, it will finally reconnect.

Now I've been coming to Zymic.com since they were just a website template source, and I've been here since the beginning of their free hosting. The only reason I bring this up is because I've never had these problems with their servers before. Is it because my site is still on the old server??

If anyone can comment or help I'd appreciate it.

I put all my "details in to the address bar in filezilla and there all correct but when i go to connect it cant. it just keeps failing...

The ftp might takes long time to upload via ftp client.

I cant log on to ftp. I've tried everything that i know how to do (that's no small number), and it wont log me on. It's giving me an authentication error. I've typed and retyped my password so there is a really slim chance that i did it wrong. I even re logged on to the server through the website, and that worked.

In that case it got fixed yesterday. Try a user name of urghughuh, without the @ bit.

Im using Netbeans IDE... but the FTP program of netbeans send all files with ".new~" suffix, ie. "example.php.new~"...
I cant send files to FTP server because i got this message:
file index.php Reason: 553 Filetype not allowed. File index.php.new~ won't be saved.

What can I do to workaround this?

I'm afraid there isn't a way to unzip on the server.

Your host name is atomic.uuuq.com.
Your user name is atomic.
You should know your password.

I am getting the following from uuuq.com

I know it is not the password because if I type the wrong password, I get

Also, I don't know if this is relevant or not, but the file manager page does not load correctly. I am using Firefox 3.0.5 in Linux. It used to work because I uploaded the site using this method originally. It loads the top section that says MySQL stats and my FTP user name and host name. And it has the two bars that show bandwidth and quota. Below that it says ZHCP File Manager and then the rest of the page is blank. I disabled Adblock, which was no help. I tired from work as well, but uuuq.com is blocked by our Internet filter for Spam URL, lol.

I am experiencing the same problem; I use Firefox 5.0 in Windows Vista. I normally use Filezilla to upload files, but I am unable to connect to the server. So I tried the Web-based file manager, and the page did not load properly in exactly the same way described by TheBlueNinja.

Update:
I just tried the web-based file manager in Internet Explorer; it failed in the same way. (IE version 7.0.6001.18000, in case it's relevant.)

I realize it is a free account, but am having trouble understanding why the
uuuq.com server has been down more than it's been up this week. I have a
pretty good site that I would like to maintain, but how can I if the server will
not allow me to access it. I am using Ipswitch WS_FTP Pro, which is an excellent
program. It keeps telling me for two days now that the server is down. I am using

We're having trouble getting FTP (Filezilla) to work on "iunctus-cybernations.uuuq.com"

It cannot log in due to "530 Login authentication failed".
It seems FTP won't let me on, yet the same password works when logging in via the control panel.

I am really stumped at what to do.

Whenever i try to upload with my via FTP it manages to log in but has problems uploading files the files show up on the remote server after uploading but the size is 0 bytes for every file and all pages on my website are blank when i try to view it, can somebody help me

Hey, guys, I use WS FTP.......I can usually connect with it all the time but I've noticed that when I upload files , they don't register for a day later. If I want to upload files to update files , I have to delete them first and then send up the new ones.
