I need some FTP help i havent been able to do anything to my gallery for over a month now because it would upload normally and FTP isnt working

I use FileZilla

Address: s-productions.zxq.net

User: s-productions@zxq.net

Pass: **********

Port: i dont enter anything in it

now i keep getting this

Hey, guys, I use WS FTP.......I can usually connect with it all the time but I've noticed that when I upload files , they don't register for a day later. If I want to upload files to update files , I have to delete them first and then send up the new ones.

Thanks for the tip i use dreamweaver and filezilla, i just looked at the log in dreamweaver and it says something about a permission problem

I use FTP feature of TOTAL COMMANDER what I've been using for a long time.

With log in details
Host Name (PORT) = homayoon.uuuq.com
Username = homayoon
Pass = ***

it goes trough some messages and in the end when everything seems okay, it reads:

500 I won't open a connection to 192.168.107.11 (only to **.***.**.***) (My IP I think!)

a small pop up windows appears with:

PORT command failed!

What should I do?

PS I changed Nameservers and my site has successfuly moved to this host. I uploaded a file through Filemanager (with difficulty)

Hello,
I have problems with using FTP. Upload, New dir and some other buttons do not work. Yesterday they were fine.
Hope you will cope with these problems quickly.

I think the problem is with the links of those buttons, for example upload files button has adrress ''java script:form_upload('',1)''.

Ok first off Thanks for the free and great hosting!

I can not upload files in the file manager, or do anything for that matter.

I am not able to use dreamweaver to connect to the ftp. I've used the following login info:
host: tastefulcakes@vndv.com
login: tastefulcakes.vndv.com

Is this correct? Can you test my ftp access?

Also... am I able to use the www with my domain name? I took down the site because it was only working without the www in front of it. Please let me know. This is very important to me because I have already printed up the address on my publicity.

You all might as well just dump your site and find a new web host, this one's broken and been that way awhile now and they don't really feel like doing anything about it. the control panel on the web client is just a stupid easy-to-fix script problem and they don't seem to be getting around to that in any hurry, this site is down for the count. things like this are normally run by a couple jackasses who just get bored with the whole deal, they've most likely given up on it and it'll probably never work right again. so just stop wasting your time and don't get your hopes up, this problem with the FTP server dropping all it's connections and the errors on page of the web client CP is always going to be like this.

simple plan: find a new web host.

this of course being to all the free members, obviously they don't care about you since they don't make any money off you.

I found a way to cope with these problems:

I began to use FileZila which has been offered by this site admins. Uploading files is simple, takes less time and you dont care about bugs in the site. Everything is working!

FTP isn't working

I triend Dreamweavers in program ftp, I tried your online ftp tool and I just downloaded FireZilla... all without success. When I log in with my browser ftp://joris.uuuq.com I get the login popup. Fill it out and... IT SHOWS ME MY FILES!?!?!? I just don't get it... anyone?

Hi, i just created a new site hellwarriors.uuuq.com and the FTP isnt working and the file manager isnt working either. Here is what i get from FileZilla

Unfortunately, FTP does not work for me. I am trying since 4 PM EST today by using WS_FTP LE.
Should I start looking for other hosting services?

I'm also having the problem with FTP that everyone else is encountering where the remote host is closing (sjhog.uuuq.com) about a minute after entering the password and nothing displayed in between. Can you restart FTP to see if that fixes the problem?

The file manager also won't respond when clicking on upload file. It's probably a related problem.

It Connects Then Disconnects Straight Away,
Ive never seent hat problem before but yeh
Then I trtied it in DOS After it kept doingt That In Filezilla And CuteFtp

When will ftp be up and running? I am using CoreFTP lite, but the problem is it never stops logging in. It never takes me to my ftp directory. When will it be fixed? I'm going crazy here!!!

So it wasnt just me having this problem? When it's gonna get fixed, I'm using CuteFTP as well and it says username OK checking for pass and it stops in there and than tries to re-connect..I also couldn't upload any files through the FileManager? Please fix it...

Hi, i just created a Account on the .uuuq.com domain, and i tried to upload html files to my server and it says that all of the 50000mb of bandwidth is used up and i cannot upload anything. i am on a free account.
