I'm currently watching you upload all your files to http://www.lbhorsess.uuuq.com/lbhorses08/lbhorses08/. You need to go up in directories, not down. Go up a level as far as you can, then upload all your files. NOT a folder, the files.

Can somebody help me? I can't delete a folder in the FTP.
I had intended to use the folder for cache, but there's been a change of plan so I decided to delete the folder.
Whether it's from windows explorer or filezilla. No avail.

i can't download my files while connecting to ftp with explorer and i cant connect with cuteFTP (I'm using CuteFTP8 pro)

dolob, i have the exact same problem, i have repeatedly asked on here whats happening and had no answer apart from: "your typing in the details wrong".

FTP worked perfectly for a while and seemed to stop working when the file manager was taken down. Somebody help. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

ifyou are using filezilla, find the options that say resume upload and tick the option that say repeat same answer (if you are uploading joomla) since duplicate files exist in joomla with the same name but located on different directories.

hope this help... i did mistake here and overwritten some files that rendered my site useless... so i deleted and uploaded again...

well, my second time to post here...

i need help please... i have uploaded joomla but there is just one file that an error occurred while i was uploading "CHANGES-2.1.0" that say

Well ... I cant access any of my Hosting Accounts since you have fixed the File Upload and Enabled it ...
and I`m sure that the data are correct ...

I`m using Ipswitch WS_FTP Professional for FTP connection ... even when I tried to connect through the explorer.exe

by going to ftp://sikas:*****@sikas.uuuq.com didn`t work ... I still get invalid authentication although the user name and pass didn`t change ...

PLEASE HELP ASAP ...

I can´t connect to FTP from any client!

replacing the "URL*TO*THE*PICTURE" with the url pf the pic , leaving the "http://www.your website.com" off and just using "/folder*the*pic*is*in/picname.jpg" where you want to have pic. ALSO, make sure you actually saved your pic to your site(common problem that often people forget to do).

MusicNinja- In response to your request (opposite of FTP issues) all you have to do is upload the image from your computer into a folder on the internet (I generally use either "cgi_bin" or "IMG_bin"). Once you're at that point what you want to do is go to the editing program of your choice and wherever you're trying to post said image just put the following code.

I am having troubles logging into my FTP accounts using FileZilla. I know the input information is correct, it just stopped working for me.

Edit: NOW I CAN LOGIN!!! (Not using FTP, but ZCP)

I don't know...the FTP works, but its still instable

. The pictures distorted happened to me too, I just deleted index.html and used index.php.

right i can login to the Z panel and the file manager

but when i try to ftp i get this:

I use ftp to upload a 20MB file.
However, it never finish the process but retrieving to upload again.
Any one knows why.

could you add few file extensions for netbeans php ide FTP

553 Filetype not allowed. File index.php.new~ won't be saved.
DELE index.php.new~
550 Could not delete index.php.new~: No such file or directory

netbeans php ide uses the extension .php.new~ when uploading files to overwrite others..

I am using microsoft frontpage 2003 for my website building. I have created a folder within my web hosting account (and deleted the default folder) and when I uploaded my website to this folder through frontpage, it worked fine. All the files are also in my folder within my Zymic account. But when I try to go to the web address it just says IE cannot display the webpage.

Any ideas??

Hey, fairly new to web design. Hope I don't come off as too stupid. I was wondering:
How do you change permissions in FTP? If this is the same as changing them in the file manager, then I have another problem, because it doesn't let me change them there. A step-by-step explanation would be nice, if possible.
