I have the same problem - 530 Login Authintication Failed! But I wrote correct password, user e.t.c. Could anyone there solve this problem?

Hey,

i just uploaded SMF on my site using filezilla

it worked perfect

but now when i try to install SMF it don't work :S

I get 530 connection error,a dn all the info is correct, I also found out i can't log into the control panel. It says "No account for that id!", but my website is still up and full functional.

Hi - I need help.
I uploaded all my files but cannot see my website when I type in the url in internet explorer
i tried uploading all my files with filezilla 1 time - they are all listed on the account manager
but no go

i then tried to upload via the zymic account manager
no go

help

by the way, this is the message on internet explorer

I'm trying to upload an SMF forum. I've uploaded all the files as necessary, then it is asking me for my FTP details so SMF can connect. I believe I have put in the correct details, but it then says "Unable to connect to FTP server with this combination of details."

Is the FTP server down? Or have I got the details wrong?

Hi there I wondered if during the upgrades/mainenance there was a problem with the vndv.com server. I am unable to reach it either directly through www.vndv.com or via my website - spacefarm.vndv.com/psp_new.html

I have also logged in to my control panel and found that the link to this websites control panel is innactive.

Its really important I can access my website.

I cant even resolve it in ftp.
However the uuuq website i have is fully functional in these regards.

My site's not on vndv and it still is not working via FTP. I've tried FireZilla, iFTP, and WinSCP, and nothing works.

My sites that I've tried this on are mewwiki.99k.org, routeone.99k.org, and tccwiki.99k.org. I've logged in successfully into the control panel, but the FTP connection keeps getting a connection issue. I've also tried this on 3 computers with 2 different internet connections.

Yes. For example, my site's routeone.99k.org, username would be routeone_99k, and password would be the same for the login, plus port 21.

I'm no newbie to sitebuilding or FTP, and this seems like a server-side issue. In addition, I'm able to log-in regularly to the site. I also see I'm not the only one with the problem...

My FTP is working fine, but I have some problems. I have wanted to put a forum on my site, but I am needing cPanel and I don't know where I can donwload it!!! And here is another problem. I have been creating a page in BlueVoda Website Builder but it won't upload the file! The format of file is .bvp. Is that a problem????

I had trouble last night (8-11 hours ago). FTP would time out and I would have to keep trying. I use FileZilla. Some uploads took up to 5 attempts before they were successful.
1 upload said it failed but was actually successful. weird night.

I haven't tried it yet today, I got it all done (slowly) last night.....

But, My uploads go slow, and I wait from 30sec to 1.5min between each upload.

if to many people access the ftp server at a time then they will get bogd down and become slow rember only 150 users at a time can access the ftp servers at a time just give it some time i have the same problem too and also it can be your internet connection can be slow too so just to blam it all on zymic as well

Your ftp host is is your example.zymichost.com and your user name is example_zymichost (sub out for your webaddress and user name) and what ever your password is you use to log in to your hosting control pannel

Your user name is enmac_zxq and your password is what you use to get to the hosting control pannel and the host is enmac.zxq.net and the port is 21

I can't publish my site through ftp. I'm using rapidweaver on mac and I'm not exactly sure what I should be typing in as the server address. Any help?

hi, I donno why ftp not working, I tried it several times. I used to upload my website using ftp commander but I donno why it's not working right now. I suspect my internet's not allowing me to do so...because some people are controlling it, i tried to zip my files instead and upload it here, but my problem is how do I unpack it. I dont see any unpack option there...can you please help me

Somewhere I read that you can't un-zip your files on the server, you have to do it on your machine and then upload them.

Try FileZilla Client. It's free and easy to use.....

I was using the FTP server Filezilla, when I put in my server address, and the second password as well as the ftp port password this site gave me it says:

Connected, waiting for authentication
Protocol error: Unknown protocol identifier (0x50 0x50 0x48). Most likely connected to the wrong port.
Connection to server closed.
Trying to reconnect in 5 seconds

It does this over and over again.

I googled the problem and someone said to direct the admin interface to my administration port, not the FTP port, but I do not know where to access my admin port.

I know that others are able to download more then one file at a time (Bulk Downloads) butI am unable to use the download option from FileZilla 3.3.3. I have also tried to use the same FTP version of FileZilla as another that is known to be able to.

Why am I not able to Download from FileZilla 3.3.3?

Is there a Special account type that has to be used?

I'm having sporadic (more often than not) errors trying to upload to vndv servers via iWeb FTP. The only thing that seems to help is login to the web file manager and try to upload again. The actual error is that it fails to connect, but the settings are correct because it will eventually connect to the server, thanks
