12) Verify that your anti-virus software is not at fault (try disabling it).

Just saying i have problems with my ftp.

Every time i visit my ftp it says "Windows cannot access this folder. make sure you typed the file name correctly and that you have permission to access this folder"


I'm not too sure what the problem is.

Local path to SMF:

What do I have to put in these 4 fields? I can PM an Admin with my account info if they need it, but I've tried all I can think of. My Filezilla FTP info works fine in Filezilla...

My domian vanished out of no where...

Can I just give my account info to someone and let them install the mods on the site? This isn't working for me...

I made it solved, problem was with the username.

I use Cute FTp and when i try to login it writes :Not logged in,disconnecting...

Hi, im trying to upload a website using the FTP feature, but im having no luck. I was told to type ftp://username@webhostname.com, did that and when it asked for my username and password i typed it but nothing happens im asked repeatedly to enter username and password. Can someone please tell me what im really supposed to do. I also download some software calle filezilla, anyone have any info on how its used? any help would be much appreaciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure its down, i've been trying all night, with many different softwares, and none of which work.

Which is BAD when you depend on ftp to update your site, so you dont have to upload all your files manually...

Perhaps tomorrow it will be fixed...

i am getting this message SUDDENLY while my ftpwas working nicely. but now i am not able to use ftp anymore.
i have checked password also, altough i have saved it in ftp so no chance of putting it wrong.

I couldn't log into my FTP. it's my first time logging in, and I've done two websites just to try and see if it works, but no luck. I use CuteFTP ( and my time is GMT +8)

I can't seem to connect using several FTPs and I'm certain I'm using the correct password. Anything I can do to resolve the problem or is this on your end?

I just checked. as of now, the FTP is working. But idk when it started working again.

Cant set prommisions for a folder. WTF?

This is what I keep getting over and over. Unless I have not activated the FTP service or something like that. I am behind a router, but I set my computer into its DMZ and told it to forward port 21 and still nothing. I use FlashFXP, so should it be in passive mode? Or anything set in there?

Hi, I just installed phpbb and now my ftp access isn't working so I can't delete the install folder. Is the server down or has my ftp details changed with the creation of a MySQL database etc?

is the FTP working, ive been trying to connect and am unable to.

last nite it woud at least connect and give me error with authintication (which is not right cos i used correct information)

Hello, looks to be I am having issues with FTP as well. Everytime I've tried to connect on filezilla it gives me a 530 error, and I know that my passwords and usernames are correct.
