And I've triple-checked my password.

All I can suggest then is be patient and persist in trying to connect.. FTP seems to be intermittent tonight. It will work eventually.

I just joined the zymic community. & I seem to be having the same problem as most people on here.


Anything I can do? I tried joining another free host & that ftp connection went fine. I read about someone registering when the servers were down. Could that be my problem?

For some reason when I try to delete directories via FTP it never removes them stating I do not have permission to do this.

So I try the File Manager via Zymic Control panel and it does the same thing. WTF!?!

What causes this?

What can I do to resolve this issue.

I can login to my ftp but whenever I try any file manipulation, whether it be uploading or deleting, I get Read-Only file system. Can the Zymic team please take a look at the issue. I also can't do anything via the file manager on the control panel. Thank you.

I had this same problem with my Solaris 10 server. All I had to do was remount /(root) as read write and modify my /etc/vfstab and modify it there as well. Hopefully these guys know that or if that isn't the problem maybe they are at least working on it? Would be good to get some response from the Zymic team about this issue. Thanks.

Same problem for 4 days, is Admin aware of this problem. I can't update my site.

Well seems like for last 2 to 3 days everyone has been saying they can not get into the FTP. Yes I am having this problem also. The best part is that this is my first time doing all this, and i was about ready to beat my head on the wall til I started to read all the post.

Will there be a Admin responding to all these messages, or will everyone be left out in the cold??? I guess you have to expect certain things to go wrong when it saz FREE..

Using Dreamweaver for ftp and 50% of the time, it uploads fine but sometimes it won't connect at all and then other times, it connects but says that the synchronisation is complete and uploads a file: temp2342.htm (which isn't mine) even though I have newer files.

Is this an ongoing problem or is it being fixed?

Admittedly, this seems to happen more when the servers are busy - i.e. - evenings and weekends.

I cannot even upload via the online file manager anymore.

I've been having this same password problem via FTP for the past 3 days already, but i know my passwords are correct because they worked in the past and i can log into the control panel on the zymic site. But it only happens for my ___.zzl.org sites, i can connect perfectly to my ____.zymichost.com sites. The only problem is that all of my main sites are the ___.zzl.org , and i can't update them! Please fix this as soon as possible... Its going to be the 4th day already in a few hours!

I'm trying to install Wordpress in my website, but I can't upload the files! I've already created a database and still I can't upload anything! I tried to upload an avatar (a small file, I guess), but it didn't work. I always get the same message when I try to upload a file:

I think it doesn't matter if you have a multiple web host account... You cannot delete your web host account and cannot change your forum name unless you will just create a new one!

Seems to be a problem with the ftp server, so whatever it is I'm sure it'll be fixed asap from what I've seen these guys do what they can to fix issues as quickly as they can.

Looking forward to an update on this issue, newly registered and itching to start uploading
