i cannot access my ftp.

my username is daydreamer@vndv.com and my server should be daydreamer.vndv.com i dunno why i cannot get into it. i can easily access my fansite on another hoster via my ftp. i use cyberduck bc i have imac. please help! also i cannot get into the chatroom to ask them for help either.

I am trying to connect to my site and it wont let me. My account info tells me that my
* FTP address: dodresource.vndv.com
* FTP username: dodresource
but my ftp program says it cant connect to the server.

Also can you delete my other site chalengecrucialclan.zxq.net for me?

Seems to be a problem with the ftp server, so whatever it is I'm sure it'll be fixed asap from what I've seen these guys do what they can to fix issues as quickly as they can.

Looking forward to an update on this issue, newly registered and itching to start uploading

I also get this error:

It repeats the error about 3 times.

Hi there,

say my username is bobthegreat, would I enter the address as "bobthegreat.vnvd.com"?

also, is my username bobthegreat@vnvd.com?

my protocols are set at active (not passive) mode and I'm on SFTP (I can change to SSL of FTP).

I just can't login on the ftp.

I've tried with cyberduck and fetch (for Mac OS X), which worked for previous hosting services.

I've tried putting the Zymic and the Web Hosting password, 'madeck.vndv.com' and 'ftp.madeck.vndv.com', nothing seems to work.

The control panel on my website gives the following error:

Template-> make_filename (): Failed - file templates / login.tpl-account does not exist

Someone can help me I can not go into the control panel

I have been having problems w/ my ftp and when i try to change my pw it says it has been changed and is gonna email to me. is your emailer broken? Also, no matter what pw i put in on ftp my new one or old one i get a 530, is your server blocking me out from it?

I cant save any of my pages. It will load and save but when I reload the page the changes haven't been made. There is a warning above the top banner of the file manager saying

The new subdomain words slightly differently, needs to be:

Address: jess-life.vndv.com
Username: jess-life
Password: (hostingpass)

We only allow you to connect to FTP a maximum of 2 times simultaneously with the same IP address. Its likely that you are using a shared IP address or are behind a public proxy.

FTP is not working for site leadertoday.zxq.net. I've been using the same clients to access, but today I am getting prompted for my password over and over again with no success.

Ok. I figured it out. The username has changed. My website - leadertoday.zxq.net - used to have the username of "leadertoday" for ftp. That has been changed to leadertoday@zxq.net.

Username needs to be: moleturd

The e-mail you get for vndv accounts is wrong. Check your control panel it has the correct details.

I can not connect to the FTP server

I keep getting this message when trying to upload wordpress and I also keep getting failed transfers. So what's really going on?
I'm starting to get a bit frustrated with all of this.

I already posted this in the "Downtime" thread, but I have the following FTP problem, when I try to upload files (overwriting):

Also, with the File Manager, I can't delete any files.

I have hosted a phpBB 3 forum. Today i noticed an error like follows

General Error
Unable to remove files within ./cache/. Please check directory permissions.

But when i was checking the particular directory's permission it has been already set to 777 and it was working fine yesterday. I tried with ftp client to delete the files inside the cache directory it says,

Response: 550 Could not delete data_cfg_template_black_pearl.php: Read-only file system

I couldn't change the directory/file permissions even.

i tried to delete the files using ZHCP File Manager. But still same problem i'm facing now.

Hi everyone,

Having FTP problem with my Account.
gemsut99.99k.org

Yesterday, could not even stay connected.

Today, can connect properly but when try to upload files, gives "critical transfer error"

If I use ZHCP File Manager in Control Panel it gives error, "failed to open stream: Read-only file system in /var/wkscript/www/fileman.jsp on line 883"

I checked and the folder permissions are 755.

Everything was fine, day before yesterday. Because of this problem my web site is not accessible anymore.

Any help will be much appreciated, thanks.

Mine isn't working correctly either. But my problem is different. When I edit a page and click save, it appears to save the information but it doesn't when I reload everything. Can someone please help me?
